4 Days Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater & Tarangire Group Safari - Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha-Lake Manayara
Pick up from your Hotel in Arusha in the morning, met our professional driver tour guide, who will drive you with picnic lunch to Lake Manyara National Park (About 135Klm), home to giant fig trees, acacia woodlands, mahogany trees and grassy flood plains. The contrasts of this area are simply breathtaking, with the open plains, huge escarpment, Soda Lake, dense woodlands, and distance volcanic peaks.
Animals such as Elephants, Hippos, Impalas, Giraffe, Warthog, Wildebeest, Blue monkeys and Buffaloes can be seen.This Park is also home to the famous tree climbing lions and Leopards.
Lake Manyara National Park provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s bird’s life with over 400 species having been recorded within the parks boundaries. Highlights include pink-hued flamingoes, herons, storks and pelicans. Dinner and overnight at Jambo campsite
Day 2: Lake Manyara - Ngorongoro
After early breakfast drive to Ngorongoro, Descend 610 meters into Ngorongoro Crater floor for 6 hours game viewing with picnic lunch. Spot the endangered black Rhinos, Lions, Elephants, Zebras, Buffaloes and wildebeest and other wild animals.
Also in Ngorongoro Crater Soda Lake you will see many species of birds including Flamingos. All these animals in turn support large predators such as Lions and Leopards, and scavengers such as Hyenas and Jackals. Dinner and overnight at Simba campsite
Day 3: Ngorongoro -Tarangire
After breakfast you will depart to the Tarangire national park for a Full day safari in the park.
This park covers a surface of 2850 km2 and is well known for his large herds of animals, especially elephants. The park shelters species difficult to localize and observe in the Northern Parks, like: gerenuk, lesser and greater kudu and eland (the largest antelope in Africa)
Many baobab trees stand on the hilly plains. The Tarangire River crossing the park has permanent water points. The baobab bark is tearing off by the elephants, overpopulated in this park, and looking for water. A large number of termites mounds dot the landscape.
All meals and overnight Zion campsite.
Day 4: Tarangire - Arusha
Breakfast, morning and afternoon game drive then leave the park drive back to Arusha, drop off at your hotel in Arusha.
