He knew where to look and when to stay and be patient to see the all the animals, not just the Big Five. We were fortunate enough to see not just the Big Five, but the Big Six (The Leopard). Communication before the Safari was excellent. The tour company made sure the hotels and staff were aware of some dietary needs and they were right on time picking us up. We noticed several other tour companies whose guides rushed their customers and did not seem to take the time or energy to show all the beauty of the parks and various animals. We started with Arusha and then a few nights in Tarangire for an amazing start! Then hardcover Serengeti followed with 4 nights in Northern Serengeti and 2 in Southern Serengeti. The last few nights were in Ngorongoro Crater area and Lake Manyara and then a relaxing 3 night holiday in Zanzibar.

Maggie made sure that we had the best hotels with amazing experiences! She was always available for any help if required.

Since we were in wildlife photography, we had an unhurried opportunity to view all possible game and also plenty of birding!!

Day tour was on the first day. Peter was an amazing guide and driver, took us to see all attractions in Nairobi (Giraffe centre, Elephant orphanage etc) explaining us a lot of things about Nairobi, Kenya and Kenyan tribes and traditions. We had a great time.
The next day Mikael came to get us from our hotel and we started our safari. It was the best experience of my life. Mikeal knows every park like the palm of his hand. We saw more animals than I can count. He explained us differences within different types of gazelles, hunting habits of predators, he knew every name of each kind of strange bird. He managed to let us see all the animals while remaining ethical and professional and respectful of wildlife. I actually cried when I said goodbye. Mikeal said that safari s just a matter of luck and that ours was very lucky. I say that we were really lucky to have him as a guide. Despite we booked a budget accommodation all the tented camps and hotels were clean, comfortable and providing good food and really kind staff. read less

From the beginning, Magdalene was easy to contact and provided all the information I needed concerning the trip, as well as making sure that my needs were met. Jimmy was the most fantastic guide, full of knowledge and with a wonderful personality. On my final day, they were able to accommodate my request to visit Lake Nakuru without any issues, which I greatly appreciate.

I was on the Maasai Mara for my birthday, and Bigmac also arranged for the lodge to provide a special surprise and cake during dinner.

Ben was very knowledgeable and professional, and we couldn't have asked for someone better. Whilst in the Masai Mara we took part in the hot air balloon safari and in Ol Pejita we went lion tracking and on a night safari.
All of the accommodation was lovely and it was well organised by Magdalene.
We loved our time in Kenya and are planning a trip back for the migration, hopefully Ben will be available!

The overall experience was very good; my guide, John, knew the national parks very well, and I was able to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and even a serval cat. The only drawback was that the car was quite old, and we had some mechanical problems during the trip. We spent over four hours at a mechanic's shop during one day, and this caused me to miss an afternoon safari in Masai Mara. I understand that these things can happen, but I would have appreciated some sort of compensation after what happened. Nonetheless, I value the experience positively, and I believe it is a good agency to organize a trip to Kenya. read less

He was amazing and the trip was definitely enhanced by both his knowledge of the parks, we went to both Maasai Mara and Amboseli, and his ability to find incredible things to see. Whether it was the wildlife, or scenery he just always had a knack of putting us in the right place at the right time. I had such a great time just talking with him about the parks and Kenya in general that I feel like we found a friend for life.

Bigmac also handled all of our arrangements easily and quickly and helped us to customize our trips so that everything ended up just being absolutely perfect. The number of companies offering safaris was overwhelming and so we were really concerned about picking the right one. It was always easy to get in contact with Magdalene, who always answered all our questions.
We were on a 7 days safari and visited Ambuseli, Naivasha and Masai Mara, two days each. And what a treat!! Our driver, Anthony (as well as the other family's driver, Joseph) were knowledgable, flexible and good company. They drove us safely on the highways as well as at the gravelroads in the parks, and they were amazing at finding the animals we wanted to see.

From our pick up at hotel in Nairobi to the end of our safari everything was smooth and professional. Our driver/guide Joseph, was a great driver both in the city and in the game park. We saw every type of animal and bird that you could wish to see and Joseph was knowledgeable and most importantly a really nice guy. It was a pleasure to spend 4 great days in his company.
Please use a local tour company if you’re planning to visit Kenya it helps the economy which helps the game parks survive.

And knows a lot of the area and the animals. Very interested. The price of the safari was really good (to compare to other travelers we’ve met in the safari). We payed a lot less than others! We’ve stayed in the leisure camp, honeymoon suite, great camp, great food and staff. I’ve emailed magdalena lot, she always replayed very quick. She even booked a Masage in the camp, and even helped us out with our plane tickets going home (what I did not booked by her). So sweet! I really recommend Big Mac safari to everyone!
