Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide who will then take you a hotel for overnight.
Our guide/driver picks you at 7:00 am from your Hotel or place of residence in Kampala. Drive to Mbarara (283km from Kampala) via Masaka. Make a first stop over at Equator crossing for snacks and photography. Proceed with a visit to Igongo Cultural village this is more rewarding and amazing as you visit the Ankole museum. Lunch break is made at Agip Motel Mbarara. After lunch, drive to Bwindi. This is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps. Dinner and overnight a lodge/Hotel
Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but it’s well worth the effort. The afternoon is spent on a village walk. The Buhoma Village Walk gives you a great opportunity to see how the people surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It also is a great way to support the local community in a direct way. The Walk begins with your guide at Buhoma Community Rest Camp and is most informative, rewarding to the average visitor. It will amaze you how resourceful the local people are as you see and learn their ways. Dinner and overnight a lodge/Hotel
After breakfast, drive to Rwanda as you enjoy the rolling hills for which Rwanda is well known to Ruhengere via Musanze. Thereafter drive by the lakes (Ruhondo and Mutera) arriving at parc Volcanoes in the afternoon. The evening is spent on sightseeing and relaxing around the hotel. Dinner and overnight a lodge/Hotel
After breakfast, you will depart for the headquarters of the Park where your driver-guide will accomplish the necessary formalities for you. You will meet your ranger guide(s) for a briefing about the greatest animal experience ever! Dinner and overnight a lodge/Hotel.
Track the golden monkeys thereafter return to Kigali, you will have your Kigali city trip including the Genocide Memorial centre at Gisozi. Transfer to the Airport for your flight to Nairobi. Overnight at Nairobi Hotel
You will be picked up at the hotel and after a short safari briefing, depart to masai Mara passing through the highly agricultural highlands of the eastern escarpment of the Great Rift Valley you will have a stopover at view point. At 2,200 meters above the sea level, views of mount Longonot hundreds of meters below on the rift valley floor are spectacular, highest in altitude of the Rift Valley lakes sparkles at a distance. Descend the escarpment to Narok and proceed to masai Mara arriving in time for lunch. You will check in at the Camp/lodge, have lunch followed by a short break to refresh then later proceed for evening game drive till dark. Dinner and overnight at your camp/lodge.
Day 2 in Masai Mara will be full day of game drive, breakfast will be served very early, then our cook will pack for you fresh picnic lunch since the whole day will be exploring the Masai Mara famous 7th wonders of the World. This game reserve is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The Mara's gentle fertile climate bounded by The Rift, offers perhaps the richest stocked reserve set within some 1672 sq km - an unlimited spectacle of wildlife. Located 268 km west of Nairobi, the emphasis here is on game. Herds of immense Elephants, browse among Lion, Buffalo, Thompson Gazelle, Zebra and Topi. You may occasionally sight black Rhino. In the Mara River(where you will enjoy your picnic lunch) Hippos play and Cross bask on the banks. The annual migration of a million Wildebeest follows the rains north. Dinner and overnight at your camp/lodge.
You will wake up for breakfast then depart for Lake Naivasha via Narok town. You will have a stop over for lunch and continue to Lake Naivasha arriving in the afternoon. You will have an option to visit hell’s gate where you may ride bikes as inside the park/ game drive or visit crescent island for a walking safari using a boat ride. Dinner & overnight at Camp/lodge .
You will take your early morning breakfast then driven to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi with a stop over at the Great Rift valley view point for spectacular views and photos of the rift. Continue with your drive passing Nairobi with lunch enroute. On arrival at Amboseli national park you will head for an evening game drive in this beautiful park which lies at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro which is Africa's tallest mountain. You will be in search of Leopard, Cheetah, Wild dogs, Buffalo, Elephant, Giraffe, Zebra, Lion, Crocodile, Mongoose, Hyrax, Dik- dik, Lesser Kudu, and Nocturnal Porcupine. Later you will return back to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight
After your breakfast you will have an early morning game drive then depart to Arusha via Namanga boarder. Our journey will take us across the border of Kenya into Tanzania. Once on the border you will clear with the immigration procedures and then continue with your drive arriving at Arusha in time for lunch. After your lunch you will be transferred by our driver to lake Manyara known for its famous Tree climbing lions. On arrival you will head for game drive in the park till late in the evening when you will be transferred to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight
After breakfast you will have a morning game drive then be transferred to the famous Serengeti National Park. This park is to Tanzania, what the Masai Mara Game Reserve is to Kenya. Covering 14,763 sq km, the Serengeti is dominated by vast, open plains with an abundance of wildlife. A picnic lunch will be provided en route and the afternoon will be spent viewing game and absorbing the breathtaking scenery of the almost treeless plains of the Serengeti. You will continue with your game drive till late in the evening when you will be transferred to your campsite for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast full day in Serengeti National Park (early morning, mid and afternoon game drives). The Serengeti is known fot its endless plains of savannah and forest landscapes. An area of about 30,000 km2 in the north of Tanzania and Kenya, of which 80 % is located in Tanzania. The park is famous for the migration involving about 1.5 million herbivores and followers, thousands of predators are moving because of the drought in the northern hills to the southern plains. After the rains in mid-April they go back via a detour through the western part. The grasslands cover more than one third of the park, where you will find many animals throughout the year. Dinner & overnight at camp/lodge
After breakfast you will have game drive en route as you depart Serengeti for Ngorongoro crater via Olduvai Gorge. Ngorongoro is an impressive 20 km wide volcanic crater with 600 m walls. The views from the crater rim are breathtaking, and there is an ever-present abundance of wildlife, due to the permanent water supply on the crater floor. Olduvai Gorge is famed for the discovery of 3.5 million year-old fossil fragments of an early human civilization. We will enjoy lunch overlooking the crater, and the afternoon will be spent at leisure. Later you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner and overnight
After breakfast we will transfer back to Arusha for your flight home. The tour ends in Arusha/Nairobi in the afternoon.
