You will be picked up at the hotel and after a short safari briefing, depart to masai Mara passing through the highly agricultural highlands of the eastern escarpment of the Great Rift Valley you will have a stopover at view point. At 2,200 meters above the sea level, views of mount Longonot hundreds of meters below on the rift valley floor are spectacular, highest in altitude of the Rift Valley lakes sparkles at a distance. Descend the escarpment to Narok and proceed to masai Mara arriving in time for lunch. You will check in at the Camp, have lunch followed by a short break to refresh then later proceed for evening game drive, masai Mara is rich in birdlife as well an animals. Dinner and overnight at your camp/lodge.

Day 2 in Masai Mara will be full day of game drive, travelling across different habitats in search of this reserve's incredible birdlife! breakfast will be served very early, then our cook will pack for you fresh picnic lunch since the whole day will be exploring the Masai Mara famous 7th wonders of the World. Described by many as the top park in not only Africa but the world. This reserve has so much to offer! From the African Big Five, the Wildebeest Migration and of course, the incredible birdlife - it truly is a nature lover’s dream. Birding will be busy with several transects across this vast savannah. Return to the lodge for dinner & overnight.

After breakfast, we will depart masai mara for lake Vitoria. On the morning, we will travel north to the second largest freshwater lake in the world – Lake Victoria. On arrival, we’ll be doing some exceptionally birding. Africa’s largest lake is simply incredible and is teeming with birdlife, where the local riparian zone will be our major target. we will search for the specialties of the area, some of which are found only in the papyrus swamps surrounding this great lake. Species we are likely to see are African Openbill, Abdim’s Stork, Water Thick-knee, Long-toed Lapwing, Eastern Grey Plantain-eater, Blue-headed Coucal, Black-billed Barbet, Yellow-fronted Tinkerbird, Greater Swamp-warbler, Swamp Flycatcher, Birds to be Red-chested and Copper Sunbirds, Papyrus Gonolek, Slender-billed, Black-headed and Northern Brown-throated Weavers, Black-winged Bishop, Fan-tailed Widowbird and Papyrus Canary Dinner and over night at the cottages.

After breakfast, we will do a boatride at lake Victoria as we also search for birds that we may have missed yeasterdy, later depart for Kakamega forest arriving intime for lunch, have lunch then proceed for birdwatching in he afternoon. Kakamega Forest is the only tropical rainforest in Kenya. Kakamega is situated in the Kakamega and Kisumu Counties of Kenya, which lie northwest of the capital Nairobi. It is said to be Kenya's last remnant of the ancient Guineo-Congolian rainforest that once spanned the continent. Return at the evening for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast we will leave on a walking safari within the forest in search of the primates and any birds species found in this park. The forest is famous for its birds, including the west African great blue turaco and black-and-white-casqued hornbill.
Wildlife that occur in the park include bush pig, duikers, bushbuck, African clawless otter, mongoose, giant African water shrew, squirrels, tree pangolin, porcupine, bats and a variety of primates including the blue monkey, redtail monkey, De Brazza's monkey, baboon, potto and the occasional vervet monkey. Meals and overnight at the cottages.

After breakfast you will depart for lake baringo arriving in time for an afternoon bird viewing. We'll be heading onto the lake via a boat ride to find the trickier to spot species whilst looking out for African Fish Eagles hunting and displaying their territory calls, you will also view hippos & crocodles. After lunch where we'll take you birding around the scrubland and dramatic cliffs that surround the lake in search of bird of prey such as the Dark Chanting-Goshawk, Spotted Scops Owls and Verreaux’s Eagle-owl among many other wonderful species of this region.

After breakfast, drive to the nearby lake Bogoria that is famed for not only it's dramatic volcanic hot springs but also for it's Flamingo population - a staggering figure of over one million have been spotted at one time! The area abounds with a large variety of animals and Birds making it an ornithologist’s paradise, arguably the best in East Africa. You may also see the shy Greater Kudu, the majestic Antelope with its spiraling horns. Other animals include Cheetah, Impala, Grants Gazelle and the waterbuck among others.

our last day on tour, after breakfast we will continue with bird-watching at lake bogoria. After we’ve had lunch, at the hot springs whilst enjoying the birds around us we’ll hit the road as we head back to Nairobi arriving in the evening. Drop off at your hotel/Airport.
