4 Days Nairobi National Park, Lake Naivasha & Nakuru Birding Tour - Itinerary

After break fast, you will head to Nairobi national park. It is the Kenya's oldest yet still very valuable National Park, the one and only Nairobi National Park! The park will allow you the chance to experience forest, grassland, terrestrial and wetland species. Nairobi National Park is one of Kenya's best places for birding with our previous tour having recorded 141 species in one day! Simply astonishing. There's also the added bonus of seeing Kenya's larger mammal species . Later head back to the hotel in Nairobi for dinner & overnight.

Early morning breakfast then depart for lake naivasha. You will get the chance to witness the world famous Lake Naivasha. This incredible lake has an abundance in wildlife and birdlife alike, and being just an hour and a half away from Nairobi, it's no wonder why this stunning lake is so popular! It's the most productive of all the Rift Valley lakes being internationally recognised as a Ramsar Site whilst also being an Important Bird Area (IBA), so you can only imagine how much this place has to offer. With over 400 species of birds known from the area, we promise you a unforgettable day. You will get a boat ride onto the lake to encounter even more spectacular species, you will feed the fish eagles with small fishes! Look out for the hippo at a close range. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

After an early breakfast, drive to lake nakuru arriving in the mid morning, do an eroute game drive as you head to the lodge. Have lunch , realsx for a while before proceeding to an eveing brid viewing. Lake nakuru is Renowned as the"Birdwatchers Paradise" this place will blow your feathers off! Up to a million flamingos have been recorded here at one given time. That's a million flamingos people! It was also the first National Park in Africa to be established due to the abundance of birdlife found here. Dinner & overnight a lodge.

After breaksfast, you will proceed to lake nakuru national park for the second days to look out for the bird species that you may have missed yesterdayThe National Park also gives you the opportunity to see Africa's 'Big 5', along with many other mammal species.The park is also famed for it's Black Rhino population, which are unfortunately endangered. This park truly is magical. Later leave Nakuru for Nairobi arriving in the evening, drop off at your hotel/Airport.
